Considering a move to Holland, what comes first Dutch lessons?

Hi

I would love to hear from others who've made the move to Amsterdam and their experience.

I'm wondering if I put my energies into finding a job or spending 3 months learning Dutch through an intensive Dutch school.
Or is it possible to find work in Amsterdam speaking English only?

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Wendy

Hi Wendy,

I'd spend my time finding a job as that will also allow you to find housing easier. We see lots of expats here who don't speak Dutch (yet) as the majority of the Dutch speak English and we have lots of international companies here.

Regards,
Roger
