Hello,

I have a question for those that have recently moved to Belgium, so I hope you can help me out.

Is it true that you need to have the rijksregisternummer to be able to find work here in Belgium and is it true that you can't register at the "interim" offices without having that number?

So I have been told a few weeks ago, that my boyfriend needs that number to be able to find a job.

We live in Limburg. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Indeed it is true, why would your boyfriend NOT have one if he is living here?
