Hi everyone, bit of a rant this I'm afraid !!! - just been going through the threads and came across "move to Malta" dated 21/2/13.
OK ,let's get this straight ..... the comments posted by fergie11 i.e. ME, are NOT and I repeat NOT my words and are absolutely nothing to do with me.
Quite how somebody can put things on the forum using my i.d is beyond me!!!! I am not and would never claim to be an expert on Malta and how things work down there !!!! Myself and my family are moving over at the end of July and are in the business of making friends, not alienating people who live there and are in a position to offer us expert advice!!!
Relating to the actual topic, I am a Registered Nurse and pretty optimistic about my job prospects down there and indeed the contacts I've made in Malta seem to think I should be OK work wise!! However , I'm under no illusion that long hours and significantly lower pay are the way things are going to be !!! - Even having a fairly sought after profession won't put you on the track of an easy life in Malta and I would have thought that having a profession/trade/language etc is the minimum you would need in order to build some sort of sustainable life down there !!!. OK rant over and here's a message for whoever it was that got some sort of kick out of posting comments under my name ....GET A LIFE !!!!

Hi fergie,

what you said in the context of that discussion was ok ! Whether you said it or some other fergie.

It is better to have an open discussion with different opinions than having no discussion. That has nothing to do with being in Malta or not.

Having good qualifications,trade experience and/or languages will always help finding employment and as a registered nurse you should not have a problem finding work. You will need to re-register as a nurse here in Malta though.

Several of my friends are nurses(Maltese) so if you have any special questions let me know.

Hi, are you sure it was not someone under the name of 'fruge' who has been outed as a troll and subsequently banned?

Hi georgeingozo , exactly !!! - that post is not from me !!! - I'm not very computer savvy to be honest but I just don't understand how someone can put stuff out there under my user I.d ? - I mean to be honest the comments weren't really offensive from the person using fergie 11 but then the other lady who started the thread came back with a pretty poor comment directed at Ricky !!! - I'm all for a good debate etc but would prefer words/comments attributed to me , to actually be from me !!!

Well that's great work by the MODs to sort it out so quickly.

The person who 'stole' your identity fergie11 must have been quite determined as they have copied your style and delivery with uncanny keeness to detail.

A lesson for all of us to watch out for this in the future I suppose.
