Hi Amir,

Welcome to the forum and welcome to Jakarta.
There are quite a few of good Indian restos there.

- Kinara, Kemang (same building with Fez bar, same owner)
- One in the same building with Face bar, Menteng. 2nd floor. I had dinner there, its a fine dining. Sorry I forgot the name!
- Tamarind, this one you have to google the address since they moved location quite a lot. They also sell frozen food! Home made!

let me know which one is better ;)

There are variety of Indian foods from different part of country.

I have tried all of them. Just asked you to let us know which one is your prefference. To me The one in Menteng is the best.

Hi Amir

Welcome to Jakarta! :D

The Indian restaurant that I visit regularly is KINARA on Jalan Raya Kemang. I have only ever gone on a sunday when they do a fabulous buffet lunch with meat and vegetable options, sweets, dohsa's and lots of different breads and rice. I think it is around 150,000 rps for all you can eat including soft drinks.
I think it's great and as an English woman brought up on curry I rate it highly! It's certainly the best that I've come across in Jakarta.

Let me know how you get on and I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Best wishes, Lottie
