Van, as always news is just news you know how they polarize the story.  The bomb scare was just totally a scare.  There are more death in New York in a single night compared to Iligan City bomb scare nobody died on that scare.  To be honest with you Iligan is far more safer than Los Angeles or Dallas even Manila.

Yes, if your white everybody smiles at you, so just smile back, Iliganon (people of Iligan)  are just happy to see a foreigner like you, an ugly duckling as you may say.

If you want your funds to go a long way, well Iligan or Cagayan de Oro is the place to be.   You have the best scenery and good fresh food, not to mention Mc Donalds, KFC and lot of other fastfood restaurants are available.

I'm from Luzon, Pasay City, been all over the Philippines from Luzon to Mindanao, Baguio to Cotabato if your setting your adventure to Iligan go for it and don't forget to go to Camiguin Island, just a few miles from Cagayan de Oro.

Iligan City is the thriftiest City in the Philippines. During the previous survey, Iligan City is one of the best City to live. You could see so many Expatriates in every corner of the shopping mall especially “summer”

Bombing in Iligan City? Ohhh, DSL? I heard about it but I been there and It is still a safe City to live, safer than Manila, safer than Riyadh, yeah I mentioned that cities because I been there and I knew more about Iligan City

You could hear that bomb or bomb scare also during University or college examination because crazy students sometimes make a false alarm in order to postpone the Examination date because of very high pressure hard examinations.

Mindanao Is saferthan Manila actually. I agree Mindanao there are many Muslim. We are not trying to descriminate them but many muslim are helping other bad Muslim or moro and such act destroy their entire race but only few muslim in progressive cities in Mindanao. Davao, cagayan De Oro, Bukidnon, Butuan, Surigao, Zamboanga Del norte in Dakak Park Beach resort, ohh wow, it looks like paradise
