Spouse visa taking an eternity!

Post new topic

My husband moved to Riyadh (on a Marketing Specialist visa for Al-Jomaih) on 2nd February. He got his iqama on 26th February and wanted to apply for my yellow paper the next day (he had all the attested documents). However, his company said that they process the yellow paper through their own messengers and individual employees are not permitted to go to the ministry to get their spouse visas. So they have supposedly submitted my application. But it has been 2.5 weeks (and according to them the app has been submitted) but there is still no clue of the yellow paper. Even though it is a 15 min task. Is there anyone I could contact to find out the status of the paper because all his company GRO tells him to do is "wait" and it is getting quite frustrating.

"Everything has its time and it sure takes it time" in KSA. So be patient, your application will be processed soon. And by the way its not a 15 mins task, first it has to be applied online and then attested from COC and then all the documents delivered to Istakdam office in person and they will "process" it soon.

You could check the MOFA site to see the status of applications submitted, below is the link.
