Advice needed on how to obtain a TEFL certification

Hello all,
I'm in need of obtaining a TEFL certification for my current job so I may get my work permit. Any suggestions on the best and most affordable way to do so. Also I'd like to get the certification as quick as possible so I can get my permit in process ASAP.

Well you need to be a bit more specific.

Do you want an online one or a class based one? 60 hour certificate or 120 hour certificate? Do you want a TEFL certificate from a well known and qualified institute or any will do? Do you want to sit for the exam and classes in Istanbul or abroad? A google search will give you a lot of results.

Looking at your profile I assume you got accepted by a school in Istanbul but need ANY TEFL certificate just to get registered through the Ministry of Education.

If that's so then check out: http://www.seriousteachers.com/TEFL/
Its cheap, not really qualified/well known or the best out there but its accepted by the ministry and you can finish it as soon as you want to. You'll have to wait around a month to get your certificate mailed to you though.
