Hello I'm looking for a photo studio to take a picture for some passport photo. Not easy to find it in dist 1 or 2. Your advice will be appreciated. Thx.

Kim Long studio in district 1 is a good option. You might wait for 30-45 minutes to take your passport picture.

Thx so much for your kind reply. Very helpful!

Another option (for future readers) is Khanh Huy (158 Cong Quynh, Quan 1). I paid only 50,000 dong (about $2.50 USD) and got 4 quality photos. Super close and convenient to where I was staying, and done in less than 10 minutes.
Just another option for those in that area!

SaiGon Center - Nam Ky Khoi Nghia - Le Thanh Ton stress corner. They can speak English.

Cheer.

Way out in the boon docks - hardly convenient to many readers.

I use:
Studio 46
46 Nguyen Hue
Ben Nghe Ward
District 1
Ho Chi Minh City, 710089

GPS: 20.818319,105.338470

Straight photo - 10 minutes; Photoshopped - next day.

Right opposite the SUNWAH BUILDING.

The Original Poster did ask for District One AND Two.
District Two, Especially Thao Dien is very convenient for all the Expats living there already.

Extra info,  Printing pictures from a USB stick at same shop
1  10" * 12"
3    6" * 8"
35  4" * 6"  prints on Kodak paper,
picked up next day........  Total price 115,000 VND

Wonder what the prices are across the river?

For D7 posse. See this related post for quick and easy passport photos. Plus, no price gouging.

4 passport photos around 25k dong. just make sure you ask (point at) the correct photo size/required background colour.

I've seen many shops in D1. THey can cost from 40k dong-80k dong. One on the side of Ben Thanh market quoted 70k.

Will post location of the 40k place soon.
