salary in johor

hi there . whats the salary for malaysian in JB? say ... KFC, sales assistant in parkson, 7 11.. because i got a job offer to work in an internet cafe for 12 hours per day , no off , monthly 3500RM . is it too low? plus accomadation

I'm not saying it's a good salary but it's a lot higher than what I would expect for working in an internet cafe. It sounds fishy to me, why would they look for a foreigner for that job and why would they pay so high when less than half would be the expected salary for a local (RM5-6/h)

Unless it's one of those internet cafe that specialize in other things than just providing an internet connection...

I agree too high for this job. Sales assistants get approx 1,500 RM per month in KL.

Could be a con - watch out for being asked for money up front like visa "processing fees"

Also you cannot legally get a work permit for this and why would they bother?

Sounds fishy... Why the boss would offer RM 3.5k for a CC worker? Normally the local price is less than RM 1k and no accommodation provided. If that is the case, the salary is much higher than a local engineer salary :)
