what you can't leave behind

Post new topic

we always have that one thing that you cannot leave behind... be it your dog, your favorite cap or just a small notebook for jotting down your notes

what is that 1 thing that you always bring with you wherever you go?

some of my friends bring along their mini-rosary and a pocket prayer book. sure makes you feel secure :) to go out on trips far away from home.

yes some of us would want to take time out to catch up on our reading- i usually bring RD cause it's small and easy to read.
I don't have an Ipad but an Ipod for my music is just great

Well I don't agree completely with this.

Sometimes becasue of the word "us" you wanna go away and leave everything you can behind "your memories, your shadow, your keys.....etc).

or

in the case you can't leave, you will want to do "low level format :rolleyes:" for your own memory just because you wanna forget about somebody.

aabie,
believe me these aren't just words, it's completely true. Out of very hard experience, which I hope that one day can be completely ereased from the memory.

Gonna sound horribly pretentious, but I have a copy of Alain de Botton's The Art of Travel I get people to write in that I carry everywhere. Other than that, my hipflask, for its a scary world out there and it's good to be prepared.
