Post new topic

Hi, I'm Sherif, from Egypt. I've been in Bahrain for about a month. I like sports specially water sports but i can't find much to do here, maybe because i find it hard to move around since i have no Bahraini driving license and therefor no car, but managed a bit with the public transportation although they don't reach many places. looking forward to meeting new people and making new friends,so if anyone is interested in doing anything (cinema, any type of sports, cafe, fishing, etc.) and i could join, please let me know.

Hi, welcome to Bahrain.

Taxi's are very cheap in Bahrain and if you want to make friends then the best way is to get out and about.

Coral bay is good for socialising and watersports as is the yacht club.

Al Dar Island is also good but very lonely if on your own.

Welcome! Do you plan to get a licence and car? It will be much easier to get around. To find activities you might be interested in maybe have a look at timeoutbahrain magazine. I have not been here long myself so hopefully someone else has more suggestions.
