outsource our retirement to India

Post new topic

whiteindiangrandmother

My Indian born husband and I have decided to outsource our retirement to India. We packed up our two dogs, clothing and electronics and moved to Bhowali.  From here we plan to explore the Himalayan hills to find our permanent home.

While still in the USA we found very little regarding the paperwork and process to bring our two dogs with us.  The information we found on the Intranet was vague and incomplete.  If anyone needs help or information, feel to get in touch.

We plan to build our home near Dhanachuli, we think.  Does anyone know of a building contractor that builds insulated homes?

I quite agree.  Things are working out well for us.

Ideally, You should select a local architect for making necessary plans and obtaining permission from the authorities. He will also suggest some contractor but you can also find them on Google.com-Regards-Naval

Thank you.  I think for now we are quite happy renting.  Seems much easier here.

Hello:  I would like to discuss some obstacles stopping me from moving to India but I don't think I would settle in Dhanachuli, I have enough with the cold and the snow...:(  Thanks.

Hello,

Actually we wound up in Ghorachal Bhowali for that reason.

I will be glad to help if I can.  My private email is whiteindiangrandmother@gmail.com
