Post new topic

Soren2310

so here's the thing, my friend and her mum applied me for a student pass, they told me that my papers is on going and ill just wait for the Visa of Approval Letter or known to be VAL.

my concern is, do i need a some of proof of evidence to prove here in our immigration airport before leaving the country Except for VAL? what is that??

your answer will be highly appreciated. Thanks!

if i am not mistaken, once the uni or school get the approval for your pass, they will issue you some letter confirming to this effect, you would have to take this letter to the malaysian embassy in your respective country and get a visa stamped in your passport
just my 2cents worth
thanks

ahm.. my uncle friend said whos doing my papers, ill just fly straightly to KL and the Immigration in the airport will open a counter for me, they will notify me which counter i will line up for stamping my passport visa..

other papers should i prove to the immigration in airport here in my country before leaving?? if i failed to get my student visa here in malaysia embassy, can i straightly fly going to Malaysia as they said and get the visa stamp in my passport??

Thanks.

hi soren, caesar is right and it is the only way to get into malaysia as a student. if in doubt, visit the malaysian consulate in your country and confirm. pls dont fly here without a visa because u will b sent back on the next flight.

if the person is a filipino national, i dont think she/he would be deported, they would be allowed a one month visa on arrival provided she/he holds a return ticket, however this visa is a non-renewable visa and after one month would have to leave malaysia

if in the meantime, if you would obtain a student visa, you might have to pay the JOURNEY PERFOMRED visa fees in order to get the student visa stamped into your passport

unless the rules have changed

carlyle1979

o yea, forgot that filipinos can avail of a visa on arrival. but i understand that malaysia is quite "friendly" when it comes to foreigners wanting to study here. so wouldnt it be cheaper and less stressful to apply beforehand. thanks for correcting me caesar.

Hi yes before you leave your country you have to prove the purpose of your visit.
When your at Malaysian immigration you will be asked to show proof of your student visit pass and other documents pertaining to your enrollment into our local university.

Thank you

Hi there,

My son will sit for his Olvl exam in May,2014... We have so far decided that we will shift to kl and he will complete his A lvl from MCKL college,kl. Now the big question is, he will get his O lvl result not reborn August and his A lvl class will start from July..college saying, without O lvl result he will not get his student visa. We don't want him to waste months and catch 2nd batch..we want him to star July session. Can you pls suggest us what to do/ how to get student visa without O lvl result? Will his 10th grade report card or mock test result help yo get the visa?

caesar1956

its the uni who ask for the results to be sure if he will be accepted into the uni
so if you can convince the uni to process his visa ,,i think it would work
