Hi Hamada,

welcome to the forum.

so the Royal Morroccan is back!

I've never heard anything of the restaurant which doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Last year there were jobs for belly dancers and now you have an offer as a handy person.

The pay for handy persons ,whatever job role that is, is probably somewhere between 3 and 5 Euro's and you would need a work permit that would be very difficult to obtain. Many jobs are taken up with workers from the Eastern European countries making it nearly impossible for non-EU citizens to get a permit.

If Mr.Haroun is the assistant of the prison director he might have a problem because Abraham Zammit just resigned from his post after a surprise visit by the Minister to the prison found many wardens truant and not at work.

My advice would be to skip this job offer but if you have any more information please let us know.

Cheers
Ricky

Hi Hamada,

today I passed by the 'Royal Morroccan Restaurant' at the former Fanelli address and was interested as I saw a dark coloured person sitting on a chair in front of the opened door.

So I took a look inside and at the menue outside on the wall.

It is now called the 'Nile Restaurant' and offers Sudanese food for quite low prices. A young woman told me that they had just opened last week !

I might go back sometime to try the food although the venue did not look that inviting but sometimes those kind of places are really good. I remember an Indian restaurant in a basement in London-Kensington where we were the only guests but it turned out to be really authentic  but very spicy -)))

Cheers
Ricky
