I am seriously considering moving to Taiwan. My idea is to learn some Chinese at one of the universities, teach English on the side and have an adventure.I have a Bachelors Degree in Law and no TEFL certificate. Is there any chance at all that I could actually get a job, considering that I have no training (but I'm a native English speaker)am also African..I have read that there's a lot of prejudice..

Yes, you may find a job. But stay away from Taipei, New Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung. Those cities already oversupplied.

You can try Tainan or Pingtung. All in the southern Taiwan. Nice weather and lower living cost.

you also can go to forumosa.com
There's lots of info you can check for.

good luck
