I am working as an English teacher for AIS-Asian International School. After working half a year, I would like to go to further education. I am thinking about working in USA to both earn money and experience a new life. In my country, students or workers can go to some other country to work and travel but they need supports from a tourist company because they do not know how to connect directly with the sponsor or the working place in the other country. For this, they pay an amount of money for the company. I would like to save money so I would like to play the role of the company. this means I go a safe shortcut.
It would be kind of you to show me how to contact directly a reliable sponsor. and then papers or terms is my dealing with.
Or you can show me hints ???
I would like to thank you so much for helping me!!!!

You want to be an English teacher in the United States?

elena2710

I wish but I can't. Vietnamese degree does not work in USA. I can just do some menial work such as waitress or sale assistant. Thank for your attention!!

I'd be surprised if any restaurant sponsored a work visa for a waitress.

Perhaps you could join a penpal club, write to Americans, and eventually meet and marry.  This is how I met and married my wife from the Philippines 20 years ago before the wide spread use of the internet.  It will be a long process for you, but it could be very rewarding in the end, especially if you have no other avenues.  Good luck.

hailey what else do you suggest then?
@ mugtech can you give us a name of the penpal or website.

I have no idea how to get an American visa.  I've never needed one.  But I do know that you can't get one doing a menial job that a million Americans can do without all the paperwork.

From what I have seen and read you need to either be a spouse of a US citizen, go the spousal visa route, or be a needed specialist, such as a registered nurse, a degreed physical therapist or an IT specialist.

raylucas

For most of us that don't fall on the categories of Specialists or a needed specialist as you wrote is left with the option of spouse? But it kinda sound weird to me If the marriage is on the visa or on love you know. And it will be really hard convincing someone that you love them over the internet or some penpal(I don't know how this works). My take on it though....

Many people want to come to the USA.  Did you think it was going to be easy to get here legally?

raylucas

I didn't say it was easy but people look for ways to make it easy you know considering been Illegal is as good as not coming because you would be denied various opportunities forcing you to a life I consider is below mediocre thats why people seek expats to advice them before they land to the wrong decision and watch the reason why they choose to travel die slowly like some cold seeps in you...more contributions are gladly welcome even if they are personal. thanks

You could always try the political refugee route, I am sure there are experts out there on said subject.  Good luck
