Hi Tania!

That's exciting you are moving to Stavanger! It's a great city. My main advice on preparations for living here would be to prepare for the weather. It's very windy and rainy here most of the year so a good umbrella and rain boots are a must! The Norwegian saying is "There's no bad weather, only bad clothing!"

I think you'll love Stavanger when you get here. It's gorgeous and quaint and the people are wonderful! I would also recommend joining the Stavanger Expats group on Facebook. It's a great community where you can find answers to loads of questions you will have.
