Hi all,

I've arrived in Malta 3 weeks ago, and didn't meet many people yet.

I'd love to make new friends, from any nationalities :)

So if you're keen to go for a drink or if you know any nice event to go to, I would be pleased to hear from you.

Look forward to it :)

Merħba! or should I say Bienvenue en Malta! Stephhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :)
Others, I am sure, will give you contact details of meetings etc.

Hi Stephhh,

welcome to the forum.

Check out the 'meeting up' thread. We have a Expat meeting in St. Julians every Wednesday at 7 pm. Newbies are always welcome.

Cheers
Ricky

Stephhh

Where about in St Julians ?
Thanks by the way :)

ricky

Hi Stephhh,

you should check out the 'meet up' thread as that is where updates are posted.

At the moment the meet-up is at Bianco's in St. Julians on Spinola Bay every Wednesday from 7 pm onwards but we will be moving to the rocky seafront in Sliema near Exiles in a few weeks time when it is warm enough for a beach picnic.

I will be posting the change when we finally move.

Cheers
Ricky

Stephhh

Thanks Ricky !

I'm definitely gonna check the 'meet up' thread too as it's always nice to meet new people...

p.s. if anyone feels like going for a walk or having a drink somewhere, etc. - just let me know.. let's make this summer [and living in Malta in general, of course LOL] fun! =)

Stephhh

What about tuesday evening, a drink at Surfside ??

Akv.

I'm not 100% sure yet but if nothing unexpected comes up... why not?! =)

Stephhh

lol

You mean, if you've got nothing else to do, then you will be coming, hahahaaaaa !!

Akv.

No, that is absolutely NOT what I had in mind =)

Stephhh

So what about a male/female drink tomorrow evening ?

I've only been here 5 weeks and found at least 4 different groups, and am meeting some lovely people

Anyone on here who hasn't been to Wednesday meet, start there , it's not far even if you live in Mellieha! I do.

Search online or go on Facebook , there are several expat groups there , some social some more info , but the more you are connecting the more you find

dreamkin

Did you guys ever go for that drink? I think I'm free on Thursday night if you want to meet somewhere in Sliema :)

Thanks to groups promoters to not use my forum to post their ads ...
I am aware about expat groups, but to me it's too many people, then it ends up making groups inside the groups ...

We were a few of us last time, having a casual drink, we all sat at the same table, it was really nice.
We are meeting again  on tuesday, at Surfside, ground floor, at 8 pm.
Feel free to join, boys and girls.
