Considering in taking the leap to Barcelona,

Hi i'm currently thinking of moving to Barcelona, I have been offered a job out there in real estate 1200Euros a month + Commision & free accomodation for the first month and then subsidised. Would like to know what the lifestyle is like out there? and would i find it difficult considering I do not know much spanish? also average cost of living.
