Criminal Background Check

Just a quick question. Does Criminal Background Check have to be apostilled? Cause the guy who was taking my fingerprints told me that it may not be necessary to have it apostilled for some countries(Canada for example).
And on the website utl.is it says nothing about certifying it.

Anyone who applied, please, share your experience.

I applied before they required the FBI background check, and I didn't have to get it certified. Not sure that's helpful to you now though!

We are from the U.S. and I am pretty positive we didn't have to get ours apostilled.
