HI everyone , I hear so many different reports about the Honda SH ,
what is the difference between on ethat is made here and one made over seas, other than price

Hello,

They have 2 models made in Vietnam, one identical from the Italian counterpart and now the new model with an improved engine.

Iv only had the older model imported form Italy but iv tryed the new Vietname made ones and i have to say i cant find anything that picks them apart other then the looks and the paperwork.

I would take the new Vietnam made SH over the imported one every day of the week and iv had many bikes in 6 years here.

Some people say the Italian got a better engine or better quality but iv taken a look at the engine when i owned one and my friend had a Vietnam made one and i couldent find one single part that where different.

I bought a Piaggio a few weeks ago and i had a choice between the new SH and the Piaggio and if you ask me today i would take the SH.

125cc or 150cc doesnt really matter in city traffic even if you have a foreign frrame i weigh 85kg and use to be 100kg when i first came here and even with another 100kg guy the 125cc is fine.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the Vietnamese-made SH is 125cc and the Italian-made one is 150cc. Other than this and a few minor cosmetic differences, they look identical.

Both models are made in both countries :)

Yup they make both 125cc and 150cc in Vietnam, the first model they made looked identical to the Italian one and where only a fraction cheaper then the imported one but the second one they made this year is alot cheaper and actually better with an upgraded engine and a new design.

But they might make that model in Italy now too iv never seen it there but iv havent been there in a long time either.
