Hi Everyone,
I'm Island Girl. I call myself that because of all the islands I've lived on during my life. I began by being born in the British Isles, later living in Barbados, Key West, Key Largo, and Plantation Key. I don't live on an island now, but I do live on two peninsulas (Florida and the smaller peninsula of Pinellas County). Perhaps I should change my name to Peninsula Girl. Anyway, I'm looking forward to communicating with the Ex-pat community.

Hi Island Girl ... I too was born in the UK, but I have been in the US since age 3. Used to live in St Pete, but now about 30 minutes south of there.

I was born next to a lake, but Elton John never wrote a song about it.
