Volunteering opportunities in Pemba and Maputo

Hi,

I forgot to ask about this in my previous post, but I think it deserves its own thread.

I might be moving to Maputo and Pemba for six months. I'd love to find volunteer opportunities for the weekends. In Brazil, I volunteered at two orphanages, one for HIV+ children. I played with them and tried to teach them English. I've also provided basic computer skills trainings, helped draft resumes, planted urban gardens, and a variety of other things.

There's an Orphanage not far from my house in Matola, it's called "Infantario da Matola" Monthly I donate some fish (if the fishing is good) and some rice ect....It's really sad to see the kids when you deliver goodies. I am not sure who's funding the operation? Thanks for you interest!
