is it good to live in Oman?

dear readers,
I am a 32 year old English teacher from Tunisia. I am considering a job offer in Oman. I don't know what I should do: to agree or disagree?
I was told my salary is worth 400 Omani Riyal. Is it a good sum of money?
What's the cost of living in that country?
How are the people of Oman and those expats living there?
On the whole do you advise me to travel and work there knowing that I have a pregnant wife and my elder son is 2 years old. Please help me.

Oman is a very peacefull country and people here are friendly and humble. They alway welcome expat. Weather is very hummed & hot June to Aug
