Hi I am a UK Citizen living in Turkey with my Turkish Husband. I have Turkish Kimlik ( Identity).   My husband has a valid 10 UK visit visa.    My eldest son ( UK Citizen) is stationed in Germany for 3 years, he is an engineer with the British Army.    We want to visit him in Germany for 3 months this winter, do we need to apply for a Schengen visa for my Turkish husband or can I just take him with me exercising his right as a family member of an EU Citizen?

It appears that your spouse will require a visa to enter Germany, unless, he has a residency permit for the UK. Here is the official Schengen information:
"-members of the family of EU, EEA, CH citizens who are nationals of a third country:
passport. They may also be required to have an entry visa, if they are nationals of a third
country subject to the visa obligation, unless they are in possession of a valid residence
permit or card, issued by a Member State (or by EEA countries or CH)."
