Hi guys. Read previous posts here on DSTV from South Africa. I just want to confirm. If I bring a DSTV decoder and Smart Card here, then I can just buy a Dish here. Who will do the setup of the dish? Please let me know cause I am getting kinda bored here.

Don't know about DSTV, but I can give you the mobile number of a guy who does dishes & boxes. Speaks good enough english (better than my arabic). He might be able to help you.

Sorry, your DSTV box won't work here.

The only way of getting DSTV (I have it here), is to tune in to the C Band Intelsat 7/10 bird.

You'll need a 2.4m dish (minimum) and a suitable C Band decoder. I have a contact who can set this up for you. Cost is approx 1 grand Lyd.
