Housing tips for finding rental-working in Dist 1

Post new topic

My husband and I have had a frustrating time with a couple of real estate agents who only wanted to show us ridiculously expensive apartments in high rise developments. I'm sure those places pay the agents the highest percentages... Can anyone suggest a person or method for finding a reasonable, safe, clean 2 or more bedroom apartment or house that is reasonable walking distance to Dist 1? I mean other than pounding the pavement ourselves. At this point we don't speak Vietnamese either, but I have a friend who could translate when needed.

Can look at this site http://batdongsan.com.vn/   its in Vn but use Google chrome and it translates it. You can get a better idea on real prices. D1 is always more expensive due to location. I would recommend having a local friend do the shopping and get the price first before you go look. You will always get the western price on your own.

If you are patient with search, surely you can find out a better and cheapest one. Tell your friend to search in muaban.net.
And tell him avoid brokers. If it's difficult for him, just pm me. We will help you when we free.:)

HI
The first, you should tell the agents your max budget, then they will show you apartments or house suitable with you budget.

By the way, apartments and house in District 1 area really expensive.  Just in District 1 area, it's mean expensive.
