Tips, Tricks, and Secrets??

jjay1003

Hello everyone!! How is everyone doing?? I hope everyone is great..

My name is Jonathan
I am from New York City, born and raised. Origins from the Dominican Republic so I speak fluent Spanish. I recently moved to Dubai. I am 24, Still a student in a New York State College but online. So I have the Flexibility to be anywhere and still be in school. I know some people don’t think it works.. But I guess beauty is always in the eye. And this is working very well for me. Hopefully in a bout a year or so I am graduated. But I am writing this blog because it seems like there is a block for people that do not have experience or have not graduated college yet. I was wondering are there any tip, tricks, or Suggestions that you might have in regards to finding Jobs.

I tried websites. They are discouraging because not only do you need experience in almost every field of about 5-7 years, you might also need a Bachelor’s or even a master to be a secretary. Not that I would want to be a secretary, but if it’s a foot in the door, I am not going to knock down the door that opened for me when I knocked on it. I know the saying “its about who you know, not what you know” applies in Dubai, but is it the only way? Are there real Agencies that one can walk into, or if online that would call you back? The ones that actually do send you an email and Say, “THERE ARE 347 EMPLOYEES INTERESTED IN YOUR RESUME” in their emails, as soon as your enthusiasm builds up and that rush of clicking on that link gets to your head and the excitement is so unbearable that you think you are going to pass out but you don’t because you want to see what jobs want to reach out to you, you are blocked because you have “NOT FULLY REGISTERED” And that’s right, to finish registration you have to pay $90… Ummm…. Maybe we don’t have $90 in the first place and this is why we are looking for jobs. Or are these websites in fact real? Do they really help place you in a good job where maybe you can start your career? What is the amount of time one should spend searching for jobs.. Is there a specific time??

Working for banks, Not that I have, but how can I apply? Do I walk into one? Or do I hope that their websites are fixed or there are start up position like teller jobs available for me to apply online??

So after spilling the scrabbled eggs of what is my head, are there any suggestions that could help me out? Or help people that are in my same position out? What do you guys think?? Thanks in advanced for the help!!!
