Well I've gotten over jet lag and all is good. My biggest disappointment is that it seems families and friends could care less about my travels and adventures. Was hoping to share some great details. Oh well...hahaha. My brother asked me the other day, "so where have you been lately!" I became excited and relplied "ooooh, Vietnam...screech!!!" He said , no where have u been since you've been home.... :

Glad to hear you're over your jet-lag and feeling a bit better.

Did you read my response in the posting about Reverse Culture Shock, it's a real eye opener. It's reply #90 on page 3 of the topic post

I mentioned the fact that people for the most part won't care much about your experiences and that it's best to really keep it under wraps unless asked. Strange, but I guess maybe it's a bit about envy, who knows?

Enjoy your vacation at home anyway and don't let the naysayers get you down.

Thanks William! I sure did and it was a real eye opener. I am trying hard to think of it as not envious, but just not interested...still sad either way. But oh well, I'm sure one of these days ill find someone who genuinely cares . But for now, I will continue to enjoy the ride!
