Skating amongst other things
Hello,
I hope anyone can help me on this,
I am looking for Arabic classes, as well as dance classes in compounds. Its look like impossible mission.
Is there any skaters here? Anyone knows a place to go skating (in the DQ)?
Thanks
Nuria
Hi NURIA,
Feel free to create a new topic regarding Arabic classes still in the Riyadh forum which will help you to get more informations .
How long you been skating ? Is there any good skater store in Riyadh ??
Thank you

There's no reason why you wouldn't be able to inline skate at the DQ. I've seen women in shorts/tshirts jogging there.
I do ice skating & if you wanna skate (on ice) Le Mall in Exit 5 is the best place for women (ladies/girls). It's quiet small but will be enough.

where do you ice skate?
There's an ice rink at Panorama Mall.
I know about the ones that are 10x10 in malls...I was hoping they really skate, not glide in a circle. lol

It's slightly bigger than that but yeah, I know what you're saying lol
Alpa89, there was this secluded skating rink in exit 10 before & we used to play hockey there but unfortunately, it was demolished months ago..
If you want, we can drive to Oasis Compound on weekends & play hockey there.. They have a decent hockey rink there.

I hope it's just shinny... I only have my skates, gloves, stick and helmet. and some shins that I use for ball hockey.

Shins? Reminds me of some old shins, goalie helmets, gloves & sticks that they threw when they demolished the rink... I only managed to pocket some pucks next day!
By the way, if you just want to skate around, there's this skating rink in Royal Mall in King Fahad Road that is not that crowded compare to Panorama Mall & Hayat Mall. I do "stick & puck" there sometimes (if the manager is not around ).

Panorama Rink is not good this time. Ice is melting. It's more of a pond

Everywhere I used to skate in FAL but it's close now. Panorama (before), othaim, royal mall and hayat. I do figure not hockey.

Hi
I'm khaled a local from Riyadh. Recently got into ice skating during one of the GEA events, and would like to continue this passion with Roller Skating outdoors with other individuals or a groups.
DQ definitely seems like one of the better options that come to mind for such activities.
If you found what you were looking for, hope you can guide me as well. Or perhaps someone else reading this thread.
Thanks!
Regards,
K
