Family visa with dual nationality

Post new topic

Hi All,
I have Swedish and Pakistani nationalities and same goes to my family (wife and a son).

I got a permanent offer in King Faisal specialist hospital and research centre , Riyadh as System administrator. They told me that i will get family status as well.

What i read so far is that my family cannot accompany with me , i have to first land in KSA , get an Iqama and than apply for family visa . Is this true ?

Since my wife and son both have dual nationalities do they have to stamp the visa from Sweden ? Or they can do that from Pakistan as well ?

The issue is that if above family visa process takes 1-2 months , I cannot leave my family stranded in Sweden.

If i can process their visa from KSA and later when got the Yellow paper send this to Pakistan and if they can stamp their KSA visa from PK that will be great .

Any advice ?

Please correct me if iam wrong.

If i get the permenant visa with family status , i have to first come to KSA alone and later when get Iqama applied for family visa.

Yellow paper I wil get in KSA ?
My Family only has to take this paper to submit to embassy in home country ?
If you have dual nationality which Embassy my family should applied to ? Can we mentioned somewhere where to get the visa stamped ?

The answer to your first quetion is Yes. You have to come first to ksa and apply for the family visa from here. You'll get the yellow paper that's actually called a family visa :)

Your family has to go to embassy with passports and attested marriage certificate etc.

You can choose from any of your nationality passports. I prefer you do that from Sweden. If you have to do this from pakistan, you'll need to get an agent do it for you.

So TheLegendLeads : what do you suggest ?

The issue is that i have to plan if i should leave my family in Stockholm (difficult) or to send them to Karachi (Pakistan) ?

If they can stamp their visa from Karachi (Pakistan) that will be great .

Family convenience is foremost. I'm sure you'll get good agents in Karachi.

Please note that it may take at least 2 months for you to get the family visa.
