Living in Esenyurt

Hi all,

I'll be moving to Istanbul in 2 weeks. Our flat is located in Esenyurt. I know this is pretty far from the city center but I'm wondering if anyone can give me an idea of public transportation links available there. I won't have a car and my previous experience with taxis are too expensive for my liking. Can anyone let me know how I can get into the city from there as well as approx time.

welcome to istanbul.
you can use below website to travel by bus :

besides that you can reach metrobus stop by minibus(dolmuş) and commute easily. better buy istanbulkart to travel by public transport.

yes esenyurt is far from city center! but there is metrobüs (ıt has own line)you can go wherever you want

Hi there are trams witch are very cheap means of transport also the metro that will get you anywhere you like in Istanbul hope that helps you ?
