Hi,

So, we are in the final stages of relocating from Bangkok to KL. During the 7 years we have spent in Thailand we have had a private health insurance offered by one of the country’s leading private hospitals; Bangkok Hospital. This has worked excellent and has covered us in times of need.

How is the situation in Malaysia (for expats), do people usually get covered by the big global insurance company’s (which I prefer not to do) or does someone recommend any large hospital “chain” that offers family insurances with full coverage?

Best Regards

Kent

As far as I know, 'big global insurance companies' are not that bad. A+ International, William Russell and Aetna provide personalized plans which allow you a good control on the amount of money you need to pay. A+ International and Aetna provide cheaper plans for SEAsia. Worth checking out. Cheers.
