Date plz?

I cannot make my mind up that everyone is so bored here and when someone take a step for day out everyone back off...

schaz

Mr. Liverpool!
I think i've got an answer for this. It happens the most in this country. You'll never find this sort of attitude in any of the other gulf country and offcourse any other country around the world. I don't know what mindsets of people living here. They're good in words, however they're worst in implications. Or may be the people are afraid of exposing themselves somehow...  (If you understand what i mean :) )

liverpoollfc

Yes that's make sense. I have tried to arrange things here in Sohar and no one bothered to turn up. Why they blogging here? May be only to show how socialize they are?

schaz

I personally feel that most of the people, employed in this country are from very small places (mostly in india). They don't have much exposure for being social.

How do u feel when u r in a seminar and u see an engineer from a reputable company, wearing a golden color shirt full of red flowers. Yes, i have experienced this and was even able to capture a hidden picture too  :)

Above is just an example, yet there is a huge population who don't know how to socialize. Most of the people here (IN OMAN) are only interested to grab an opportunity to capture an opposite sex to desire themselves. Its a bitter but true reality.

liverpoollfc

Wow man you got some in depth information but it is true as sometime when I read a blog on this website its more like a dating then socializing.

schaz

Yeah indeed!
I've been able to learn alot about this country and the expat community during the last 5 years somehow :)

Sorry, it was on the same day as the post.

Dear Schaz,

I think we have to take a lot of things into stride... I really like Vido's attitude of starting an actual catch-up..... I am sure we will have more members in the future, or atleast, it will be the three of us :D

Lets meet-up soon before I leave for greener pastures
