Im studying abroad, help!

Hey everyone! I'm studying abroad in Finland this fall (September through November)and I have done a ton of research but am still finding myself at a loss. I have no idea what to expect or pack. Ive heard that it doesn't really start getting cold there until the end of November or early December. Any advice? Im from Ohio and I have only traveled within the United States, anything would help!
