Supermarkets near Plaza de Espana?

We're on holiday in Bcn for six weeks (woo hoo) and looking for a proper supermarket (read big). I found a smallish one near our flat but want more than four aisles.

In las the shopping center las Arenas you have a good supermarket, MERCADONA. There are two more Mercadonas in the area, one behind the freshh food market in Hostafranchas, next to the tube station with this name, and another nearby. Where exactly are you staying? I live in the area.
