Possible move to Jubail or Al jubail

Post new topic

Texcanman

I was offered a position in Jubail, i want to bring my wife but I am a bit concerned. I have not seen anything real good about Jubail.  Seems like pollution is very high and life not the greatest for women
Is Al Jubail a better place to be?
I really want to feel comfortable leaving my wife at home while at work. Dont really want her to feel like a prisoner .
Was thinking of traveling from Bahrain but that is a long drive.
Is pollution better in Al Jubail

Thank you so much for your help

Hey Mate,

I have been in Jubail for a month now. Not a good idea to bring wife over. Seriously, I wont eventhough when im in family package. At least, let them enjoy the freedom and luxury back at home. Cheers

If I had understood you right, you are trying to compare between Jubail and  Al Jubail ? if so, they are both the same place. The "Al" is used in Arabic language as the definite articles for English language.

I guess you got a point there. Maybe he comparing the same place.

I don't expect the luxurious life in Jubail, heck I don't have a luxurious life where I am at. I know life is different in Jubail specially for women but if  they offer long contract I do not wan to leave my wife behind. If it means moving to Dhahran. Although I do appreciate the reply lack of luxury is not a show stopper. I have read different posts and blogs and seen different opinions. But mostly my concern has been about lodging in Jubail. I know that housing on compound is hard to get. Was looking at Royal Commision area but could not get anything .

All d best texcanman. Jubail is not bad actually. Royal commision if im x wrong u can see any adverted. Its usually company accomodation and u can check wif ur company if im x wrong. I just got my accomodation nice villa at royal commision given
by my company.
