Call the Malaysian Embassy.

Aww you guys are cold like ice. If gen2 drops dead you're gonna feel bad. :(

Haven't you been hearing the news lately? Expats who complain of stomach pains have been dropping like flies.

Gen2: call 911 right away. Or whatever the equivalent to 911 is here damn I don't even know...gotta put learning that useful tidbit on the 'to do' list...

Vietnam / Emergency numbers in Vietnam
You can call the police by dialing 113, the firemen by dialing 114 and medical emergency services by dialing 115
But if you cant speak Vietnamese, you going to die anyway...

Welcome to VIETNAM.
They speak Northern, Central, HCMc and Mekong VIETNAMESE.
Usually, they dont understand themselves as well
Not to worry, your stomach will toughen up.
You may even develop a six pack
Otherwise, have the other link I attached handy.

l3ully

walk off to next hospital or doctor or pharmacy. Virtually any pharmacy will be ale to advise you on a doctor an/or medicamentation, if you are good in passing your problems on.

It is actually one of your responsibilities to prepare for emergencies, including medical.

Those of you who don't speak serviceable Vietnamese and also look Asian...  You might not want to dial that 113 number, in the wee hours.  First of all, the dispatcher will not understand you.  Second, the response team is the Vietnamese version on the American SWAT team.  They are not some of the most friendly people you will find in Vietnam.  Last but not lease, if there is no crime, you will be charged a pretty high fee, after they have completed their "works."

Knowlegable Vietnamese don't even call on these guys, during the day, to report non-life-threatening situations.  They typically run down to the ward police.  113 guys are quite a rough bunch.

Expats here in Vietnam, need emergency phone line number:
- 113: for police, accident, criminal or some thing like that.
- 114: Fire team.
- 115: Ambulance, or some thing seriously in health.

Dear Gen2gary,

Are you better today?

Tay Ninh is not quite convenient to foreigners. I found the address and contact of Trang Bang Hosital, if your stomach is still not good, try to catch the taxi or xe om to go there first, tell them "Toi bi dau da day / toy bi dao za jay / ". (I have a stomachache) Then at the weekend  try to arrange the time travel to Hochiminh city to make a medical checking.

Trảng Bàng Hospital
Address: Lộc An, huyện Trảng Bàng, Tây Ninh
Tell: (066)3883166

Wish you be better soon.

Such stomach aches typically because of eating unclean food. Try taking vegetable carbon up to 4 -6 tablets one go, brand name Ultracarbon , NORIT or such similar local types soonest possible. Otherwise, it co uld be gastrointestinal flu, need go hospital.. Self preservation medicines are a must prior coming to VN to enjoy oneself!!

Nah, seriously go to the doctor if you have no other choice but be warned we took my uncle and they couldn't help him and then they sent him to HCMC. There they didn't do much at all to help him and then he died.

:(

They may tell him to goto the nearest hospital :proud

Haha, even his g/f doesn't care about him.  After you get better, it's time to find another girl, bro.
