Hi, my partner and I have just got jobs at an international school in baku and are moving there mid August. Just want to know the best way to meet some people and socialise? We are kiwis if that helps ; )

Best way to meet expats in Baku - hang around the pubs in the city centre - around Fountain square (Finnegans, Otto, etc.), visit few brunches in the 5-star hotels - and you will know the majority of expats in no time.
In case you like classic music and concerts - there are wonderful ones in Baku. Season starts in September.
