Anyone have a good experience with a dentist in HCMC??  I have a cavity, but I'm scared to let someone touch it unless I have a recommendation...

Thanks!!

Where are you located?
Check ot the adverts in this blog. There are a few dentists.
There is a company dentist but their charges are a little over.
I had friends flying from Australia to have a major job done.

I am in Binh Thanh, but not so far from D.1, D.2, or D.3.  I've seen a couple Western dental clinics here, but no idea if they are reputable.

check out at nhakhoaminhkhai(dot)com. they quite professional in that except that you have to make appointment :(

whatclinic.com or the like can get you started on a list of some posh Western-focused ones.

Of course, this isn't even all the fancy dentists available and some may be more expensive by virtue of being online and prominent.

A cavity shouldn't be a big problem...

Very nice!  They even have a price list online.

"Clinic is designed in European style, with a waiting room is spacious and cozy and chic on a music background tunable light, create a sense of comfort, ease somewhat stressful for you in the meantime"  :)

Thanks for the response!!

If you haven't found one yet PM me.  I'm in the process of getting a root canal and some fillings.  The dentist is doing a thorough job for a very reasonable price.

Go to Western Dental Clinic or FV Hospital.

They are the most expensive but they have outstanding reputations.

At FV - I have just had a tooth implant and lot's more much more complicated treatment following a traffic accident and my teeth now look great.

I just returned from nhakhoaminhkhai.com and had a great experience.  They did a consultation, x-rays, and a good cleaning for 300,000 VND.  I also need a post and a porcelain crown and they said that would only cost 430,000 VND.  As clean, professional, and high-tech as any dental clinic in the US.  Made an appointment earlier today and was in front of the dentist within 5 minutes of arriving.  Definitely recommended.

What about with Implants? I'm trying to find
places I can recommend friends to,
many come over from Aus to get it done cheaper.
any experiences?

I thought you just needed to fill a cavity? Why do you need a post and porcelain crown? Did they find more work than just a simple cavity?

I need 2 wisdom teeth pulled out. They are both sitting horizontally crowding my teeth. Lots of dentist to choose.

Seems there is no bad dental experience. Usually people remember the bad more than the good. Must be a good sign all dentists in Vietnam are reliable.
