Triathlon / bicycle training ?

Hi,
We are moving to Xiamen in a few months. Pretty serious triathlete in the family, who can't find any information about where to go cycling?

He does between 40-160km bike rides for training.

Any advice / thoughts / suggestions on where he could train? Are there any safe / quiet roads out of town?
Any cycle clubs or triathlon clubs?
English not required: just some people to go training with for safety.

I'm not so familiar with cycling myself, but I do often see some fairly seriously looking cyclists in Xiamen Island when I'm out walking. Most of the road in Xiamen are fairy busy, but those outside the built up areas, offer scope for reasonably safe cycling, and 40 km shouldn't be a problem (although Xiamen Island isn't very big, and longer rides, 160km as mentioned, might be a bit harder).

40k loop, he can do four times, better than 32 times a 5k loop.

I've gotten in touch with run my way, a bike shop that organises cycling events. Although a lot more mountain biking, they do road cycling rides too. Sweet.
