Singapore car license in Malaysia

I am holding a Singapore car license . Am I allowed to legally drive a Malaysian car ? Thanks in advance

If you would like to drive a rent-a-car, should be no issues at all. otherwise better to have a license issured by JPJ Malaysia, should be very easy process to convert your license to local license.

Application for Change of Foreign Driving License to Malaysian Driving License To Foreign Countries Have Bilateral Agreement With Malaysia (Automatic).

Backgrounds
For applications under this category, the applicant may make an application through the Office of the Road Transport Department (RTD) on the list of the nearest State Country producer license below. Approval of the change of driving license under this procedure is only allowed to license class cars (D) and motorcycles (B2 / B) only.

Documents required
MyKad or passport.
Visa validity period of not less than 3 months.
Foreign driving licenses are valid.
Letter translation of driving license (if the foreign driver's license is not in English).
Driving License validation of license issuing country's embassy or confirmation from the license issuing authority. (Embassy of the producing countries of origin license means the license issuing country's embassy in Malaysia or other countries near Malaysia).
Color photograph (25mm × 35mm).
RTD form L1 complete.
Additional documents to be submitted if necessary.

Payment
1. Exchange processing fee of RM20.00
2. Malaysian driving license fee RM 30.00 per year
Note
All original documents and copies (1 copy) must be submitted with the application.
Approval is subject to the terms and conditions set by the RTD guidelines.
Completed application does not mean success.
