Places to visit in Murcia

Post new topic

Julie

Hi,

For the ones living in Murcia, what would you suggest to discover the region?

When you have friends or family visiting you, where do you go with them? What are the must-see places in Murcia, the tourist sites?

How to visit the region in an original way? Any unusual or unknown place to recommend?

What would you suggest for a couple of days of for a week of holidays in Murcia?

Thank you in advance for participating ;)

When people visit us we usually go to the sanctuary in Calasparra and sometimes get a paella in the restaurants there, in Cabo de Palos you can try the local dish (I can't remember the name but it is a rice dish made from fish) and Jumilla for wine tasting, there is nice hiking in Ricote or you can just visit the cute villages and of course visit the attractions (cathedral, casino, a museum, some churches) in Murcia city.   I am looking for new places to visit so we don't always do the same thing.
