Hello,

If you are an experienced engineer then it may not be necessary to know Norwegian. I know people working in the oil and gas sector who speak only English. You could consider registering with an agent/agency or contacting a company such as StatOil, Aker Solutions, DNV etc. You can also browse jobs at www.finn.no, but this site is in Norwegian.

Engineers are generally in demand in Norway, so long as they can speak English. I suppose it will depend on what sort of engineer you are. If you can work in the oil and gas industry, then you shouldn't have a problem.
