Questions regarding Iran

Post new topic

Fred

An important question.
With all the politics regarding Iran and other countries, are foreigners welcomed or is there a level of danger?
I'm thinking mostly of Americans but also about other nationalities.

Hello mas fred.

A new thread has been created from your message on the Iran Forum for more visibility.

Thanks.

forget what media say about Iran, turn down the telly and face with reality, Iran is one of the safest countries to travel to, there are many things to do and of-course foreigners are welcome to apply for a tourist visa to have a visit to iran.
read what travelers have said about Iran: irtouring.com/iran-tours-testimonials

hope this helps

I was thinking of 'on the ground' relationships between foreigners and locals as well as government/official attitudes to foreign visitors.

I met an Iranian white water rafting team in Indonesia and they were lovely people but we keep hearing about how nasty Iran is.

I'm of the opinion, this is media and government driven political rubbish but I was hoping for opinions both from expats in Iran and locals.
