Trying to make new friends! Help!

Hi,
I have been in Porto for a couple of months now and I am looking to meet new people! I know the easiest way to do this would be to join clubs (I love art and anything creative and am open to sport based clubs too), but my Portuguese is terrible at the moment so this is very difficult! Anyone have any suggestions or know English speaking groups?

You might want to consider an English language church. Riverside Porto International Church meets every Sunday at 17,00 / 5pm at Rua Goncalo Sampaio, 361, Porto / very close to Boavista roundabout.
