Hi

I have settled with my husband (he is Portuguese I am Australian) in a small village between Nelas and Viseu.  I am interested in meeting people around just to have an English speaking contact.  My Portuguese is minimal and I will be taking lessons to improve but would like to have some English speaking people to catch up with from time to time.

Cheers

Hi

thanks for your answer.  I have never been to Belgium and would like to visit one day.  I like living in Portugal but need to get much better at the language.  At present we are working on our land to grow things for next year.  As you say healthy living is important and it is good to grow your own food.  We are very fortunate as we have relatives who give us produce as well.  The taste is completely different.

At present it is very hot so the work is taking time but that is fine.

Keep in touch
Sharon

Hi Sandra
Thank you for your reply.  Yes I am enjoying living in Portugal but would like to meet some English speaking people, not only for English conversation but to increase my Portuguese Language skills (very basic).  Let me know if you are interested and I will email you my email address.

We live in Pedra Caveleira which is near Silgueiros, about 20ks from Viseu and go into Viseu on a regular basis.
