Hi all, any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Basically my visa has expired and I wonder if it's possible to get an extension without having to leave the country.  Promises from an employer and still no visa, so deciding to try and do it myself.  Similar situation happened last year but I just paid a fine on departure and returned again this year. I do wish to stay here but if I leave I will not return because of the ball ache it is with visa applications.

Any advice?

Hi Dan,

Usually you can extend your visa but only up to one week before the expiry date. If you apply after the visa expired you will have to pay fine ((200-400azn, if I remember correctly). I paid the fine and could stay another month - as requested in my visa extension application.  Try to get your Azeri friend/colleague call the Migration Services - without necessarily mentioning your name - and ask for advise. You might as well do it yourself but their english isn't often satisfactory so might be a frustrating experience. The last time I called the number was 12919.

Can you guide me how I can get the Restaurant Business licence in Azerbaijan along with Visa Extension..
Your early response is highly appreciable.
