Almarai is one of the largest FMCG in GCC and certainly the biggest one in Saudi.

Although the pay scales and the working conditions are no match no Nestle in P&G.

Discrimination is at its peak here in Saudi.

Assuming you are caucasian, you would be considered as royalty at work and treated like-wise. There is a very high probablity of you getting the best of available facilities.

I am a Blackburn Rovers supporter, have been all my life, that is probably the only think I will miss if I am successful with my interview on Monday..

Just hope life out there isn't all that bad!

How long have you been out there?  The base for the Almarai site I have applied for is in Al Kharj.  So not sure how remote this place is and what facilities they are likely to have on the compounds, Would you know?

I also believe they have just moved the weekend from Thu and Fri to Fri and Sat, or they are just in the process of douing so...

I have been in Saudi since March this year after a very long gap. I dont know much about Al Kharj. As per google maps Kharj aint that far from Riyadh. So I guess you wont be that remote.

The govt offices, banks and most of the corporate offices have already switched to Fri-Sat weekend.

Hi guys. I just signed a contract with Almarai ( poultry div).  And here is my question. I am waiting for visa authorization number from MoFA. How long it will take? I am waiting nearly two weeks.....and I am a little bid confused.....any help?
