Hey Everyone!

We made it to our compound tonight and have cell phone and internet to boot!!  yay!!

We arrived around 4ish but it took time to get through the passport control line and all that.  The hospital public relations person met us at the hospital and was a huge help. I can't complain one bit about the process of getting here to the compound. It was great and we have already started meeting people.  =)

Overall we are happy with our compound and apartment, though there are some pros and some cons. I hope we can make it more home-like. We like the facilities though and have a great location on the ground floor with 4 bed and 3 baths. They really took care of us and providing our apartment and stocking wonderful amenities inside the apartment too. YAY...we were so worried.

Besides IKEA are there other stores where I can buy cute kids' bed frames?  They gave us plenty of beds and all but we want to try to put 4 smaller beds in one room because the kids won't sleep separately. I will keep the baby with me for a while so I also need a crib or something as he just started rolling like a roley poley! =)

And Jeddah is seeming just perfect for us and our needs and desires!!

I am so glad that every thing seems quite smooth with you , and also ets so great, that you found the compounds department pretty suitable and comfortable for you , because in my situation, they have afforded a beautiful department for me but regretfully et was in the men section so i have refused cause et will be for me just like a prison :p
So i have changed all the plan.
Good luck , enjoy your time and welcome to Jaddah. :)

Welcome to Jeddah,

Furniture stores are many in Jeddah brands and not, but if you are looking for good price and good quality at the same time you may go to Mahmoud Saeed Market (next to Najjar Mall and bicycle round on Siteen St.) it is very big market for all type of furniture.
